“When you cross the Jordan to inherit the Land” (Dt.11:31)—

from your crossing the Jordan,

you should know that you shall inherit the Land.

“Which HASHEM your God is giving you” (Dt.11:31)—

because you deserve it.

“And you shall inherit it, and settle within it” (Dt.11:31)—

the reward for inheriting it

is the capacity to settle it.²
