In this course, we will explore different Jewish figures across history who were considered radical in their time—from Jesus to Baruch Spinoza to Bernie Sanders and more.

Each week, we will learn from a different Jewish Studies faculty member about how Jewish men and women shaped and were shaped by the cultures in which they lived, and discuss together what made each figure a radical in their time.
