Several excellent documentary films have been made about American Volunteers in Spain:
- The Spanish Earth, 1937 – created by Ernest Hemingway and Joris Ivens to draw attention to the cause of the Spanish Republic
- Dreams and Nightmares, 1974 – a documentary film created by Abe Osheroff
- The Good Fight, 1984 – directed by Noel Buckner, Mary Dore and Sam Sills and featuring Osheroff and other Vets
- Into the Fire: American Women in the Spanish Civil War – directed by Julia Newman, 2002; Celia Seborer (Greenspan in 1937) plays an important part in this documentary film
