Is there a connection between your Jewish Studies courses and what you’re doing now? What was your favorite Jewish Studies class or experience?

I’m always looking at life through the lens of a Jewish perspective. The Sephardic Studies courses I took with Professors Naar, Bunis and Sabar provided me with some of the highlights of my educational experience and exploration into Sephardic culture.

Any advice for current Jewish Studies students?

Embrace the opportunity you have to learn from the outstanding professors that come through the Stroum Center for Jewish Studies. Go beyond your studies and actively engage with the Jewish community at UW!
