The Stroum Center for Jewish Studies in the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies is calling for applications from pre- or post-doctoral instructors to teach a 5-credit course related to
contemporary Israel in Winter/Spring 2019.
Course proposals focusing on any discipline in the humanities or social sciences will be considered,
as well as interdisciplinary proposals. Pre-doctoral applicants must have advanced to candidacy.
In your application, please include the following:
1. Title of the proposed course
2. A course description (up to 200 words)
3. A sample syllabus including learning objectives and representative readings and
assignments (the person selected will have the opportunity to revise and finalize the syllabus
as needed before teaching the course)
4. Copies of your teaching evaluations from the past 3 years (applicants who have taught
for less than 3 years should include all teaching evaluations)
5. A current CV
