Undergrads: The Stroum Center for Jewish Studies wants to help you work with UW Study Abroad to explore a world of opportunities! Check out our exciting and informative new page dedicated to UW-approved study abroad programs and exchanges that feature coursework in Jewish Studies, Sephardic Studies, Israel Studies, and related languages.

While it’s possible to study in Israel on a number of UW-approved programs, there are also programs in countries from Austria to France to Scotland to Spain where coursework in Jewish Studies, Sephardic Studies, and Israel Studies is also available. No matter where you want to go in the world, there is a good chance you can take Jewish Studies courses or participate in a Jewish experience while there.

And don’t forget to apply for an Opportunity Grant to help fund your experience. Grants are offered in two cycles: grants for Winter/Spring experiences and grants for Summer/Autumn experiences. The amount per grant is up to $1500. Multiple grants are available. More information and application instructions can be found here.
