Access students and community members are invited to join Naomi Sokoloff, Professor of Hebrew and Comparative Literature, to discuss two Hebrew poems in translation in an informal setting. The poems that will be discussed were covered in “Prayer and Poetry in the Jewish and Islamic Traditions,” an inspiring new course Prof. Sokoloff co-taught last winter with Prof. Samad Alavi, Assistant Professor of Persian Civilization.
