About Esra Bakkalbasioglu

Esra Bakkalbasioglu received her Ph.D. in Near and Middle Eastern Studies in the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies in 2019. She was the Stroum Center's 2016-17 Robert and Pamela Center Fellow in Jewish Studies. Esra received her M.A. and B.A. degrees in Political Sciences and International Relations from Bogazici University, Turkey. She is writing her dissertation on the politics of infrastructure in the peripheral regions of Turkey and Israel.
