Jewish Film Studies: Israel & America at the Movies

In my recently published essay, “Cinema Studies/Jewish Studies, 2011-2013,” I discuss a range of books that deal with Jewish themes in film, Jews on screen, and Jewish identity. Focusing primarily on American and Israeli film, this essay calls for greater critical dialogue across national boundaries to enrich the field of Jewish cinema studies.
